I have a senior cat that meows every morning at daylight to wake me up to be fed. My oldest decided to get up early one morning and take care of that so I could sleep in. (forget what he was in trouble for). When I finally came out of the bedroom my cat looked very disapprovingly at me, turned and flicked her tail before walking off. Did not have anything to do with me until I fed her dinner. Now she is all loving and I am forgiven.

“Dog trainers” spend most of their effort training the “masters”.

I call phony. Real cats would be swiping at those tassels and scratching the heck out of the lectern.

Animals are the better trainers, as they are far more consistent and patient in their training methods.
My take on an old saying:
Dogs have masters.
Horses have staff.
Cats have servants.
