That’s how my George was…he saw me through rose-colored glasses. I always told him to never lose them! He’s been gone over 18 years now…

It’s true, after 47 years of marriage, I have found this to be true.

All together now: Awwwwww!

As you know, my wife recently passed away. And going through the old pictures. I’m reminded of how stunningly beautiful she was. RIP Baby Girl…….

Yesterday I was given a senior discount twice without asking for it, or being asked if I am a senior. Well, I am 73, so I guess it’s about time.

Very true.

I said that to my wife once……..and she said that she had to get me to doctors—an optometrist—to check my eyes and a psychiatrist to check my mental stability ! ! ! !

Then I must be a super plugger.

It’s been 46+ years for my wife and I and I still see her as the 17 year old I met in college. I’m not blind to the changes time as wrought upon either of us, but I still see her that way.

Yep. 51 years and I still check her out when she leaves the room.

Ain’t love grand?

well… their vision isn’t what it used to be

Real love only gets better with age.

We have been married 43 years – engaged 2 years before that, dated 5 years before that- first date Nov 1973 – soon to be 50 years since first date. And we knew each other close to 2 years before we started dating.

And – at our wedding friends were taking bets (and not as a joke) as to how many days the marriage would last.

And unless we are doing something that one of has a problem doing (such as bending down for him when, say, gardening) something it is all as if it was yesterday.
