Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning, Locos! I had very little sleep last night (Caturday) because the dog wouldn’t settle down. I don’t know if he heard deer walking through the campground or what. So I watched a video on You Tube about using spinners for trout. I have been a huge fan of Rooster Tail spinners for decades but he mentioned a specific color of a Panther Martin spinner. I had one in the tackle box so I gave it a shot. On my third cast I had a bite and so the battle began. I could see a huge silver flash under the water from my kayak. It was a beautiful 21 inch rainbow trout and had a huge girth to him. Who knew You Tube videos could actually be spot on?
