This legit feels like a strip Peirce made from personal experience, old man shouting at cloud and whatnot.

5\10, eh. Not an exciting arc idea.

In my country, there’s a Dunkin Donuts close to my home, and the donuts there cost around 3.50 Malaysian ringgit, which is 78 American cents. So if they have those designer donuts in my country, they would each be RM15.76! That’s insane! And yes, I’ve calculated all that. One American dollar = RM4.50

I like Krispy Kreme the best. And really love their coupons where you buy a dozen donuts and get another dozen free. Unfortunately I can never use them as I can’t get all those donuts past my wife.

I’m totally with Gramps on this one. Yet, we all know there will be a line out the door waiting to buy them by young numnuts who don’t know the value of a dollar.

    Dang. But I think I prefer bagels…

Strip rating: 7/10 RIP the Einstein Bros that I’d go to almost every other day… But still, I’ll agree with Gramps here. The price is pretty ridiculous…

To all the readers who keep putting comics down and grading them. Why are you reading them? Why don’t you write your own if you are so great at judging what is and isn’t funny? By-the-way these are rhetorical questions. And I will take my own advice and not read your comments or answers :)

We have a place that moved in my city recently that makes “Mochi donuts” within “Nate’s” local area.

The best way to describe them is “arrange 8 donut holes together in a circle, cook them then coat them”. I don’t know it it’s regular dough of something else.

Regular donuts are $3.50 and specialty donuts are $3.75 each.

It’s about 2 towns south from “Wimpy Kid’s” bookstore.

I don’t think I’ve purchased a donut at a bakery in 20 years or more. So, I decided to look up what a dozen donuts would cost. I went to Dunkin. It’s impossible to find out how much a dozen is. It’s nowhere. Highly detailed nutritional information (for a donut?), sure. But not pricing. Seriously. I couldn’t even figure out how to place an order online. I think you have to use their app. I don’t even want the donuts; I sure don’t want the app.

Okay. Must be an anomaly. I’ll try Krispy Kreme, the largest chain in the country. (Dunkin is #2.) How much is a dozen donuts? No one knows. It’s not there. You can’t see it and you can’t order it online. Oh, oh, wait. You can do it. It’s a bit sneaky. You have to tell it you want delivery, then switch it to “pick up.” Okay, enough distractions. How much is a dozen donuts? Although it varies by type, a “classic assorted dozen” is $15.99. Okay. Thanks. Seems reasonable. But I think I’ll just go back to not buying donuts. It’s much easier!
