The monarch migration? Up here in Canada I can’t even remember seeing even a single monarch up here since around the year 1980? That’s even with the monarch appearing on the 20 dollar bill!
Monarchs were all over this year – found a chrysalis or two under deck railings, so I know they were active here in the north of MN… and yes, they unfortunately got hit by the car too, since I’ve cleaned them out of the grill of my car.
It’s already time for them to go? Fall is closing in…

We have a prairie meadow out the back door and it has been so dry and smoky that even the milkweed didn’t seem to attract many this year. Depressing.
