I can remember chasing fireflies on summer evenings when I was a kid.

There were a few bugs in the plan anyway, Katy.

Haven’t seen fireflies around where i live in years.

Yech, smushed firefly.

You’d still have to buy a lot of Purina Firefly Chow

Maybe a tiny flying glow-in-the-dark pony.

I well remember as a kid catching fireflies and putting them in a mason jar with holes punched in the lid. The fields and yard seemed to have millions of them. Now, when I go back to my hometown to visit, I rarely see any. I’m told insecticides are the culprit.
