My manager at one company played solitaire at work. I could see a reflection of his screen off of a picture frame as I walked by his office. One of the three reasons I quit.

I worked at a data center and when everything was running right we only had a couple of hours of work per shift. When stuff broke it was hectic. So a boss called one evening and asked what we were doing, and we said “watching HULU”. He said GREAT that means nothing is broken!

The boss remarked to mark for setting the bar low.

Block all the social media sites on work computers.

… so it’s only half his time.
