I wouldn’t say “room” so much as “potential.”

Some people are better at it than others though.

Well that’s encouraging.

Appropriately, a comment about screwing up is on a sheet of paper so that it can be “screwed up like a sheet of paper”.

True. The trick is to not live up to that potential.

Screwing things up – a sure sign that you’re not dead.

Sadly this is true. However, I hope I have learned from experience to avoid making the same mistakes twice.
