The gentleman up the street had over ten years of wire hangers from his shirt laundry to leave to his nephew when he died. That’s much more typical hoarding than gift cards.

My wife found a few hundred dollars worth of unused gift cards when sorting through her mom’s possessions.

Maybe not in a children’s room.

Hoarding isn’t the right word. Most of the time we forget to use the dratted things when we go shopping. Then we lose them. Anyone gives me a gift card I figure they REALLY don’t like me.

Gift cards are a win win for companies. Pennies to produce, no risk and lots of potential profit.

They’re in there somewhere.

I see that Zack is a Ghost Rider fan!

I messed up a $50 gift card yesterday by pulling off the numbers with the tape instead of scratching. I will never do that again! Half of the numbers came off with the tape! I’ve done it that way many times and this is the first that it ever happened.
