Are all those five known pranks? I understand the first, “Yes. Then hold on to it!”, and #3 “Arguing about who called (I guess)”, and #5 in some way. But, #2 and #4?

Apparently the second is a recent one. Al least I never heard of it until now. A few moments with Google reveals that thanks to modern technology and its recorded calls there is even a website where you can enter a phone number and send the prank. The essence is that a van full of exotic dancers is arriving momentarily at the recipient’s home.

“Is Dick there? Last name Gozinya.”

New business, doomed before it got off the ground; land lines no more…
