He might have not have a storied career yet, but Miles is already a far superior character than Lucy ever was!

It would have worked better if they switched roles.

Maybe Karla or Kimmy could have held the ball? Somehow this seems beneath Miles’ dignity.

Crabgrass is so good on so many levels. When I think back to “famous strips we’d all recognize” the kids are too often just pitiful – isolated and hopeless. Those weren’t really ‘funnies’ for children, but adults. But even when Miles, Kevin, etc. are close to seeming pitiful somebody or something helps them, and the reader (kid or adult) can feel good about it. Eat right, exercise, and always wear your seatbelt Mr. Bondia – someday I want my great grandkids to enjoy new strips of yours as much as my grandsons and I do now.

Love it! And it isn’t even Charles Schulz’ birthday!
