I’m, um, several years into Social Security and I still refer to people my age as “older”, as in, “There was this older lady in front of me at the store…” What’s up with that?
Commented to a friend the other day “When did we get so old?” His response: “I knew we were going to get old, I just didn’t expect it to happen so fast.”

On the other hand, I don’t think I recognized anyone in my high school yearbook. But then it was the early 70s.
