So true. I’m not a beach fan myself but friends are. It truly is boring as all get out.

Mr. Dear is still freezing. Why don’t they leave?

Fred you could always practice digging in the sand ;-)

Sea gulls: rats with wings.

That’s pretty much the way I see it Fred.

I’ve never understood the attraction of the beach; I’ll take a walk in the forest, thank you.

And you’ve caught all the seagulls you’re ever going to catch. (Just as well. They’re far bigger then you thing and twice as tough.)

Bingo, Fred! Yet I enjoyed my family outings at Pebble Beach in Rockport, Mass long ago alongside my brother there – sigh!!

We’re all used to the cheery strips of late. It’s not easy to adjust to Mr. Graham’s earlier style. Enjoy your vacation or retirement Alex (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Fred take a nap like you do at home

The drawing style seems different from last month.

I’ve always loved spending time with the ocean, not in it, but walking along the shore. As far as the beach is concerned, not so much.

Only when he was young would Fred get bored at that beach, in later strips Fred would always be willing to lie in the sun.
