A classic death trap. The walls gradually close in as the organ music grows tenser and tenser. Will our heroes escape certain doom? Come back next week for the new episode: Escaping Certain Doom. or Don’t Flatten Yourself. Then the newsreel comes on.

I would expect them to be automatically expulsed from areas that close up due to 2 atoms cannot occupy the same space in the same continuum.

It looks like a computer is generating the boundaries between Eden and the displaced reality. If they can get to the computer, they might be able to slow or reverse the transition.

I still think that the characters the Marx Brothers (and Sisters) were removing were the „red shirts“. Wally was sent back to rescue the ones who were meant to survive.

I really can’t think of another reason for Marx to send them here.

All those passages caused by Marx back when Project Eden was doing the Free Energy bit are collapsing. All the realities will cease to overlap. Each portal closing as the tunnel closes off. It’s what the Dead Eyes were trying to prevent. Like unrestricted mining under a town….those tunnels eventually collapse taking bits of the town with it. Just run boys run…..complain about unfair later.
