Sometimes when life gets too hectic, I alway say I wish I had a log cabin in the middle of the forest, with a stream, food, paper, pencils, and lots of books……good bye cruel world…..LOL
I’ve only lived in Oregon/Washington and Vermont. Guess I like MORE trees, although with exception to Vermont, I’ve lived in the city. My apartment is surrounded by many trees. In fact it’s called The Park. Haven’t seen any bears yet thank goodness :-)
My mom, sister and I were driving home from New Mexico to Kansas. The map had the highway for one of our possible routes marked as “scenic,” so we decided to take that. Turns out the scenery was entirely made up of trees growing up the mountainside on one side of the highway, and the tops of the trees below on the other side of the highway. We three prairie girls were not impressed.
In my hometown some of the older streets are lined with gorgeous shade trees with glorious blossoms in the springtime. Probably why it’s my favorite time of the year.

Too fewer trees vs too many trees. Interesting comparison.

I’m utterly happy with All The Trees crowding on all sides and blotting out the rest of the world. Bring on the serial killers!

Ah, the Goldilocks Theory of Trees – I’ve studied it very deeply in my undergrad career.

The more trees the merrier for me. My Grandfathers farm in North Dakota had a shelter belt of trees. When I was a wee lad it seemed like a forest.

How do you know when a tree has had too much root beer?
