Gil’s just p*ssed because he knows he could have had all the kids in juvie sent to his southeast asian sweatshop for their summer vacations and raking in even bigger profits on “State Champion Gil Thorp” merchandise, instead of being Rod Hardwood’s useful stooge.

Gil is upset because they’re raising money for the victims of crime? Is he a Republican and believes any money raised should go to pay 45’s lawyers?

Didn’t we have a Lift-a-Thon a couple of months ago to raise money for Milford schools? Can’t say I see the distinction.

Well, this is probably the only state-of-the-art juvie sports complex without a Jumbotron…

I remember when the NCAA were going to allow college players to leave early in football and basketball, and then to get paid in some manner. The hue and cries from those staunch supporters of big college teams were deafening. “They get an education! (right, graduation rates were not good and classes taken by athletes were watered down)”. Also heard was, “They’re going to destroy college sports!”. Alas, it’s good that young men and women are allowed to benefit somewhat from their toil and sweat while billions are earned from these benevolent university.
