At least he doesn’t have it in a bank: They will rat you out to the Feds in a heartbeat, who will then come up with some excuse to take it all away and gin up some bogus charge to put you in jail.

Leopold would most definitely have found the treasure’s location by now. But he must still need to find the key, and then, Party Time…..

Gary’s 700 years old. My guess is that he was smuggling his gold to England on the Spanish Armada, and that Leo’s going to need a diving helmet if Gary does tell him where it is.

Gary’s “Vampy-sense” serves him well when Leopold’s automated staking device is activated. If the vast riches really do exist, they will remain Gary’s, at least for a while longer….
