It’s okay, Sophie. My baby doesn’t like the boom booms either <3

Amazing but my cat loves thunderstorms! She just sits on the back of the couch and watches the thunder, lightning, and rain go on. She’s not deaf, and I can’t believe it.

My dogs feel compelled to be closer to me in a thunderstorm. I don’t mind. If you’re going to be afraid of something, lightening is a pretty good choice.

We used to have a St. Bernard that always tried to hide under the table. She was so tall that she actually moved the table around. You’d have thought we were holding a séance!

My outside dogs (they have a nice set up on the front porch with a ramp to the big yard) can hear thunder when I can’t. I can smell rain coming tho. When Shaw goes into hiding, I know it’s time to look a the weather map app.

My cats are blase about thunderstorms. Once the kittens saw that mom didn’t think the storms were a big deal, they were fine.

My brides’ dog basically lives on her lap, until it thunders. Then she’s under my desk until the storm passes.

Just throw a blanket over you, that’ll keep the boom-booms out.

I suspect Sophie could be a fan of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” – after all it does have “thunderbolt and lightening very very frightening, me!”
