Francis pointed out Randy hated them and Nate pretty much said “Yeah, but trampoline”.
Nate tried to sneak his way in in a slightly stupid way (but if I may, Randy is a bully, and Nate is one of his victims, so I think we can root for him, no?)
Francis stood by the side letting it happen, judging but not acting, then gets to go because he was “honest” (read: not Nate), Randy acted like a bully (the worst thing Nate did here was lie that he didn’t wanna go on the trampoline, considering this is a BULLY, I doubt we have to get on his case), and Francis (mind you, the honest one here, the good guy here apparently) goes to hang with the guy he literally said he hates in the beginning because “Trampoline”. You know. Like Nate.
And that’s the joke. Hypocrisy or (even worse) Nate is in the wrong and Francis isn’t because Peirce can’t break his formula to fit the characters he writes.
0\10, this arc started promising but is now I think the second worst of the year (far more infuriating than Tutoring Chester and beach School Picture Guy, but it had a good joke or two, unlike the now infamous Vegan Donut arc).
We’ve had the Coach John Wallet arc, the aforementioned donut arc and this. 3 of the most boring arcs ever, with some serious misunderstanding of humor and compelling characterization. The best arcs these days are the Daphne ones, and I’m not gonna pretend they’re perfect, they could use some work. Please we get a better arc next week.
But bounce back does give us a clue that Nate will probably sneak back in and try to get on the trampoline hopefully on Monday this happens 7/10 this can go somewhere
Let’s review this arc, it starts off randomly with Frances a Nate, having like a treehouse to look out and Randy just got a trampoline so Nate and Francis mostly Nate want to use the trampoline but Randy is a bully, so Nate pretends that they’re friends and Francis does nothing and then Randy says that they’re not friends and that he should just ask and then when he does Randy says no and then he lets Francis go on the trampoline, and he didn’t really even want to go on the trampoline I mean, he probably did said that Randy wouldn’t let them and of course, nate is stabbed in the back again
My opinion on all of this is it is sometimes funny to see. Nate always gets stabbed in the back, but sometimes I really feel bad. I mean he has before but like. I’d be real nice that he actually wins half of the time. Unlike 25% of the time. So it’s annoying but yeah this arc was really mid probably at 4 to 10. But the only way that this arc can actually be redeemable.if Nate sneaks into Randy’s yard and uses the trampoline. And Randy’s probably gonna catch him, and it might lead into something big but if it doesn’t, then this was just another Lame arc

So basically:
Nate and Francis wanted to go to the trampoline.

No trampoline ride, but Nate’s been bounced twice! Wanna see what he’ll do. (Hopefully, there’s a letter from Daphne incoming)

Oh my gosh. I KNEW Nate wouldn’t get to go on the trampoline. But Francis did get to go on it. But still, this arc was way too predictable!
Strip rating: 0/10 I think I prefer last week’s arc…

Chalk it up to life Nate and just drop it. Revenge is a two edged sword injuring both its receiver and user of…..

You did good Francis. Proud of you. Maybe Nate will move and the comic can be about Francis and Teddy and Randy.

That was actually a good joke. Now it’s time for Nate to write some letters for Daphne, telling her about this and more.

Bro, imagine being Lincoln Pierce, and being excited to see what people have said about your comic. I feel terrible tbh.
