Most of the country is sweltering and Hachiman says it is fall. A couple of months too early. Granted everything has been 2-3 weeks early this year, but two months? No.

If you can not yourself cut the ties that bind you… find a guy with a sharp sword…

Believe Hachiman could learn from much from Mutsuta’s wife.

Some excellent work there, giving Hachiman’s head depth like that.

Comes the quiet, inward smile, of a moment of Zen enlightenment…

There is a lesson here for me. I’m 80 now, and gave up much that I wanted to do in my life for family and friends.

But it is mostly passed now, and I enter into my Autumn.

So, I am going to ‘cut myself off at the base’ and go wondering and do things and go places I wanted to go to, but never did.

    Thank You MythTickle !!

A life is brief. It should be lived to the fullest until it’s end. Thanks to Hachiman that flower will experience, in it’s last hours, things no other flower ever has.

O great Hachiman, you are a little quick on the draw with your katana!

Shall we say “poor, cut loose flower,” or shall we rejoice “fly, flower, cut loose at last”?

Hachiman might also have said, ‘No “just”. You are a flower.’
