Why do cats not like to have their tummies rubbed?

My girls LOVE to have their tummies rubbed. First ones I’ve had that feel that way.

I think if Mitty ever wanted his tummy rubbed Mama should take him to the vet immediately.

A dexterous cat servant should be able to manage all three places at once.

My two love to have their furry tummy rubs. I’m training the kittens to like them too.

Tummy rubs are only for very good personal friends, who approach the area gently, slowly and withdraw at the slightest hint of discomfort.

    Mama should respect Mitty’s boundaries.

All of my cats have solicited belly rubs at one point or another, except for Monroe. He will gently grab and nibble your hand and arm. Dad and hubby always stop cold. Bear begs for them, rolling around and purring as you rub her.

My female tuxie insists on my rubbing her belly. She pulls my hand in to start. My other cats will always leave you bleeding if you try.
