Corporations have every right to do whatever the hell they please.
.
And, as Republican saint Milton Friedman said, corporations ONLY responsibility is to make as much money as possible. If getting rid of anyone enhances the bottom line, that’s what they are required to do.
Our newspaper runs only six comics, only four of them are worth reading. I’m guessing the cheapest they could get. If you want more than that you have to get a newspaper from 125-150 miles away. Question—does the Washington Post still have it’s three pages of comics?

You have to give him credit – he even included Opus from Bloom County!
That may be about as bipartisan as this strip has been in years!

I didn’t think anyone besides me had heard of “The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee.” (small boy, glasses, pencil behind ear)

Who wrote the pink slip note? Mr. Dithers of the Blondie comic strip?

TWO representatives from Bloom County. Probably an excuse to draw Bill.
I’ve thought it was weird for years now: Newspapers shrinking and getting of the most popular thing in the newspaper.

I don’t recognize three of these characters but I do resent my local paper dropping Prickly City (some years back).
