My dog never gets the doggie bags. They’re for tomorrow’s lunch.

When we would go out to eat, we’d bring back a few bites of whatever we had. The dogs always wanted their share.

As long as it’s food that’s safe for dogs. Like no desserts with chocolate.

That’s the good news. The bad news it’s the brussell sprouts neither of them wanted to eat.

If we did own a pet, my wife and I probably couldn’t afford to eat out as much as we like. And even if we did, the dog wouldn’t be getting our leftovers — they cost too much.

Reason #279 why I don’t own a pet.
