Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.

TEACH a man to fish and he will spend all day in a boat drinking beer.

So remote the fish couldn’t even find it.

How does one pinch a lemon?

dill, parsley and lemon raisons. Yum.

Whenever I would go and spend time on a mountain lake, I would just bring some steaks or fish to grill and just float around on the lake all day.

I like mountain lakes, but I don’t like fishing.

Did you pack the dill and parsley? Any lemons?

Don’t prepare your fish before they’re caught.

We used to fish and troll every weekend in Chautauqua Lake in the 80’s! Listening to Willie Nelson and bobbing along was the best!

There’s a Mountain Lake in NJ, but it’s not terribly remote. And there are no snow-capped peaks. I don’t think Monty & Moondog drove to Idaho.

They might want to “scale” down their expectations.

So they don’t share a tent?

No mac and cheese emergency rations?

I love fishing but I could not care less whether I catch anything or not……

Obviously rookies. Most experience fishermen’s know to bring a few from the grocery store along in a cooler – just in case.

As noted elsewhere, that’s what Mrs. Paul’s and freezie packs are for. sigh.

Fishing is fine, as long as you don’t expect to catch anything, Monty. It’s just a time to relax on the lake, If you want a good fish dinner, find a nice seafood restaurant near the campground….

reminds me of George Costanza eating the chocolate bar with a fork and a knife. How could we expect these two dimwits to actually catch anything, although I would have liked to see Loch Ness Nessy swimming in background or under canoe
