C’mon everyone. Give Lukey a little credit. He’s been up all night breaking down loofah drill tape and studying goat milking technique on YouTube all night.

Is that supposed to be a nameplate on Luke’s desk? Who the hell made that, Jami?

Why is it so difficult to draw the Apple logo correctly ? And why does a coach have over a dozen books on his desk?

P1 & P2- Granny Pearl continues to wear that water squirting flower. If only Whigham could draw a panel of Dr. Pearl holding a glass of Glengoolie and squirting BHHLHM. That would be a GT classic like the peacock or Marty telling he may not have Holly Dobbs, but he has Johnnie Walker.

Yeah, ok, Luke (this remark coming from the same guy who was working out in the school gym minutes before his team was supposed to play a big game)

P 4 (Gil, rubbin’ Luke’s nose in it, even if it ain’t true): “….yeah….Mimi made it difficult for me to get out of bed today…”

In all reality , isn’t Gil taking someone else’s job by turning on the lights ?

P4 – GIl: “Gee Lukey, who peed in your Cheerios this morning?”

Every day when I read this strip I feel like I missed 3 or 4 strips in-between.

Looks like Luke might have dislocated his elbow in P3. Probably from sleeping on that uncomfortable futon. And speaking of sleeping, don’t you be sleeping on your chance to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Would he actually call him ‘Coach Martinez". More than likely, he’d just say ‘Coach’…. or just use his real name. Then he’d say, “What business is it of yours if I’m late and get the hell away from my desk.”

I think it’s interesting that Doc Pearl(gotta believe) has mutated from Granny Clampett to a member of Jefferson Airplane. The times, they are a-changin’.

P4-“Did you sleep well? And how’s the wife and kids?”

Gil and Granny look so happy and perky as they stroll in late. Hmm!
