I used to jog a lot and found that if you run 20 miles per week you can eat what you like and gain a pound, or kilogram as the case may be. But, if you don’t watch your fat intake you can gain a coronary artery blockage.
A friend made me cut down on carbs and I lost 4 pounds without trying to ‘diet’, I just switched from store bought bread like Orowheat and Sara Lee to thin sliced Dave’s killer bread for sandwiches and Ezekiel’s muffins for breakfast. I haven’t lost anymore but was gaining weight weekly by a pound or so before gaining as much as 10 pounds over my weight now. I do drink a Protein shake or soy milk for whenever I’m hungry late at night instead of something solid.
