So I shouldn’t eat black eyed peas offered by Will I Am?

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:13-14)

I thought the message had something to do with cleaning out your refrigerator regularly. Also, wouldn’t the genetically altered food be the stuff that doesn’t turn green?

The message of Green Eggs and Ham is more like that you shouldn’t judge something (as bad or whatever) if (or until) you’ve at least tried it/them.

Green Eggs and Ham, The Sneetches and Other Stories, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Horton Hears a Who, The Lorax, and Fox in Sox are just some of the greatest works of literature of all time.

Green Eggs and Ham is not The Cat in the Hat, (I prefer the former)

Children’s chapter books are great pieces of literature with Captain Underpants, Time Warp Trio and Goosebumps as prominent examples.

Why does any book have to have a message.

I would argue that “Fox in Socks” is the good Doctor’s finest contribution to world literature.

If that’s his takeaway, he hasn’t reached the ending.

When she was young, my wife learned a great lesson from Green Eggs and Ham. She made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and added lots of green food coloring to them. She had them all to herself!

The message of Shakespeare is: “Beware of I-am-bic pentameter.”
