Try turning 85. I don’t look it, don’t act it, don’t want it….sigh.

I do so hate that punchline – it keeps playing on some stupid commercial. If your self-worth is so wrapped up in keeping your age a secret, well, all I can do is shake my head.

I’ve never wanted to deny my age. I’ve worked too dang hard to reach my 70s. Claim it and be proud.

I don’t understand why some people don’t like to admit their age. Embrace the fact you’ve survived!

Seems like this goes in cycles. In your 40s you don’t like to admit your age. When hit your 70s and beyond, you’re proud that you made it that far.

Congratulations, you made it this far.
