I taught my daughters that begging brought an automatic “no”.

My grandson has that equipment, and he has made a lot of friends that way, over the last 4 or 5 years. A bunch of them and my grandson meet up in real life regularly, driving in from different states. They are a really great group of young people. It helps the kids to be social and not isolated when playing their games.

Well considering that in this series they have dial-up, a network adapter would bring 24hour busy signals..

Oh yeah, at one time not every device we had was connected to the internet.

Jason won out eventually. Games moved to actually requiring a network connection, even if they were not multi-player games.
