    He’s not a good one, no matter what category you choose. But Joe’s far too intelligent to let him anywhere near the levers of power. The plea deal WOULD have been more punishment than most people in his situation would see… and now we’ll probably see something a lot LIKE the plea deal, but with more money for lawyers which is “always a good thing”®. The Thuglicans can push as hard as they want on this and they’ll get what they always get when they project their own venality on someone who’s better than that: A lot of wasted time and energy and crickets to show for it.

    This seems to imply the plea deal was rejected because it wasn’t nice enough to Hunter. That’s the opposite of the case; it was actually rejected for being too nice. The judge (rightfully) didn’t like that it offered immunity to future cases.

    Joe Biden should pardon Hunter and trump for their tax discretions. Then let all the other chsrger fall where they may. The trumpers head’s would explode.
