As children, we NEVER even heard of a peanut allergy. Every kid had peanut butter sandwiches at lunch in school. Now peanuts are banned. We had a peanut store open in my city and a woman insisted they close it because her boy had a peanut allergy. The owners refuse to close it and said “If he has a nut allergy, Just stay away!”. I love peanuts. If you do, check out Picards Peanuts. You can order at PicardPeanuts.com (note: If you see a double “u” in a word, blame my laptop. Works weird.)
Peanuts and cotton are often rotated on the same field. Preliminary findings from a 2015 study have shown that it’s not so much the peanuts as it is the chemicals used in growing them and the pesticides used on the cotton that’s causing the difficulties. Peanuts grown naturally and not intercropped with cotton have not triggered these allergic reactions. Peanut allergies were not a problem before intercropping and chemical marination.
Peanuts are legumes, not botanically real nuts, and grow in the ground. So if some chemicals are being injected into the ground while growing a crop that is rotated with peanuts, the peanuts could easily absorb them. Hmm.
that kid that saved the bus, he was able to do so because he was the only one on the bus without a cell phone. all the other kids were unaware of the situation because they were on their cell phones. it was a story on the news and the kid did note that maybe he can get a cell phone now …

Recently here in Canada a 70 million dollar lottery ticket remained unclaimed and has passed its due date. I’m glad I never buy those things.
