I know nuance isn’t the forte for those just trying to score points, but it can be true that 1) having that particular song on a platform for kids is not the best idea and 2) recognizing that “Fat Bottom Girls” availability on so many other platforms means that it really is not “censored”.
By the way, they really do make the rockin’ world go ’round!!!
For a second I thought maybe Payne might be reasonable then I checked it out. More fool me, the company did not ‘censor’ the song for body shaming but for the suggestive lyrics (as mentioned above) “the average age of our listeners is 5 years old". Can you imagine the outcry if it was on the platform, Fox News “an openly gay performer is singing lewd songs to our kids”. Then I looked up the other songs and could find no mention of any censorship just a Payneful attempt to extrapolate an erroneous idea to it’s ridiculous conclusion.
I have heard 2 out of those 4 songs on Sirius XM within the last week. How and where are they cancelled? Henry, if you lie to make your point, you’ve only proven that you’re a liar, not your point.
Ah, Payne’s upset they left “Fat Bottomed Girls” out of a version of their greatest hits album intended for younger listeners. He’s suggesting this is them being cancelled rather than an intentional choice by the surviving members of Queen, ad then leaping to suggest more songs are being “cancelled”, which is of course complete nonsense. What I find interesting is how the “anti-woke” are suddenly describing the song as about female body positivity. It’s really not. It’s about a boy’s sexual awakening. And . . . well, it’s a fun song, but there are some problematic lyrics for younger listeners. Especially the very catchy, rhyming bit where it’s implied he loses his virginity to his nanny. That’s the problematic part; not the big butts.
Has anyone else noticed that the GOP wants to cancel every culture except for white male culture? I hear these songs all the time and I have never thought of killing anyone, overthrowing the government, trying to eliminate our two-party system, or investigation people rather than investigating actions and events.

If only we could cancel stupidity.
I’d be happy if the guilty parties were shamed for it.

I know “Fat Bottomed Girls” was left off a streaming service intended for pre-teens. Is Payne pro-groomer now?

Don’t forget the winter song, “Baby It’s cold outside”.

Thank you so much, Hank, for bringing to light this egregious existential issue facing humanity. Where would we be without your deep insight?

Wait til Henry finds out that Nickelodeon won’t program Sex And The City, The Sopranos, and Red Shoe Diaries.

and yet songs like WAP by Cardi B are not cancelled and there are countless RAP songs with vile language and imagery. . .
It is sad how dumb people are (or are they hypocrits?)

Smoke on the Water refers to a conflageration, not smoking of any type
