Whenever my phone tells me it’s Span calling, I answer and scream as loud as I can, then I hang up. If it’s a live person, damage to their eardrum. If it a Robo call, the scream messes up their operating system.
The other night, my supervisor & I both separately spent at least 10 minutes trying to convince a woman she was being scammed. She was told to buy a specific prepaid card that started off with specific numbers and told to purchase them at a specific store. Buy $800 worth of those cards, send them to some specific government program, & eventually she’d receive $30,000!!! We both refused to sell her the cards. She left, talking to herself, convinced it was not a scam.

I don’t answer unless I know them and leave a message. My machine is set on 2 Rings and rarely leave messages!
