They also get to be friends with a super talented, cool, great cartoonist.

That sounds like an awesome lunch. Three extremely talented and very funny people.

It’s only the confident person who acknowledges the genius of others.

They must have loved having you there, and your drawing of that lunch is genius!!

Nice, Allison! This is pretty much how I feel when I go to the National Cartoonists Society events.

I love hearing that a bunch of cartoonists caused a ruckus at a restaurant, drew butts all over the place, and someone said, “Keep it down!” We need more of that energy : )

I thing they became friend with you because they are able to see you as a fellof very amazing and talented cartoonist.

I’d guess they feel the same!! (Also – love the paper drawing!)
