Three times a honey do list was foisted on me

First time met with genuine laughter.

Second time, laid down ground rules, honey do lists aren’t going to happen.    If you think something needs to be done or want a favor, simply ask nicely. Not nagging, you ask once. Possibly twice.

Third time, a stern look extinguished the honey do plague

We have a honey do list and MY work list. My stuff is generally repairs to the house or the trailer. Hers is house stuff but not critical. I try to approach the lists every day but my work hours are from 10 am to 1 pm. the downstairs remote is acting up. it means I need to clean the board and the contacts. three days I have been downstairs and I keep saying, “I gotta get into that”. it’s raining today. This just MIGHT be the day. Unfortunately my work hours do not start until 11 am today as I already went out to the Sally Ann to drop off the unsold goods from the yard sale last weekend and picked up a few plastic buckets from the local Harvey’s.

Careful there, Gunther. You’re courting a manufactured disaster!
