Red is blue because he’s missing his dog.

Too bad this strip doesn’t take place in the current time. Rover could be Red’s emotional support animal.

Great to see Zeke and Rueben! Always wondered, dogs must know other dogs names because of ,commands. Hmmm

Awe, my poor, sad babies! End of school will come soon enough and you’ll both be home together again!

Now on the bright side, Rover ……. you’ve got Reuben and Zeke to keep you company …….. Red, just think about the fun you and Rover had over summer and that he’ll be waiting for you when you get off the bus ……. :)
