My adaptive cruise control mantra is “Trust the technology, trust the technology,….” So far good.
Even without it on I get a “stick shaker” on the steering wheel if I lane wander and the loud buzzer if a pedestrian steps towards me from the bike lane or sidewalk.
There are two routes to real self-driving cars. One: make them smart enough to share the road with everything else. Two: ban everything else from roads self-driving cars use.
