This reminds me of a plane that used to be displayed at the corner of the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, VA back in the ’60s called P2V Neptune “Truculent Turtle”. One distinguishing characteristic was a drawing of a turtle with a sailors cap and a smoking pipe outside below the cockpit. And it did not require a Grog! ;-p
