How many youths does it take? None. They are still looking on their phone for the app to activate it.

In the last ten years this senior citizen has changed exactly 2 light bulbs because I bought all LED bulbs and have yet for one to give out. And the ones that did give out were 10 year old CFLs! The LED ones will probably still be going when I’m not…………

How many teenagers does it take to change a light bulb? None. They wait for their parents to do it.

However, Ruthie, you get up in the middle of the night, several times, no? You need light then.

The sensible senior citizen gets somebody else to do it. We have a local electrician who is tall enough to change a bulb without needing to use a step ladder, which is very handy. And, fortunately, LED bulbs do seem to last a bit longer than the old incandescent filament variety. This same man tells us that fluorescent tubes have had their day, and if one fails it will be replaced by a corresponding LED fitting.
