Many people save the partial rolls of floss. You never know when you will get in a life-or-death situation where you will need to make 8 feet of “rope” out of dental floss so you can cut your fingers off trying to hold it. :)
Never could get the hang of using dental floss — I think I’m reasonably handy, but the art of wrapping it around my fingers and manipulating it through my teeth always escaped me. Very frustrating! I did slightly better with the flossers that have a little piece of floss already stretched across them. But my new favorites (recently recommended by my dentist) are those little dental brushes with the tiny soft bristles. I find those easiest to use.

So true. If only I’d saved all my dental floss over the years! I’d be rich!

I like my Reach flosser. Lasts for weeks, and good for removing the big pieces before I brush.

I always floss twenty minutes…
… before my dentist’s appointment!

Well, I thought it. That’s why I tie knots in the floss to keep it on my fingers. You need less than 1/2 the floss that way.

Imagine if you saved all the twist ties from your bread wrappers……

I’ve observed that dental floss is mostly handle.

Floss packaging is so wasteful. Why not have a big spool (like thread) or at least put more in those tiny plastic boxes?

Somewhere there is a special place full of dental floss who never got to fulfil their destiny.
