I don’t think that is a snake. It’s a worm with a lisp, sticking his tongue out.

SNAKE should high-tail it outta there. As omnivorous marsupials, possums have a varied diet that includes insects, small mammals, fruits, and, snakes.

If anyone is missing out on the joke here, it’s probably because you’ve never met an opossum. They hiss like a tea kettle when they’re feeling threatened.
