I personally prefer the last panel “football” game.

Love Rover’s expression as he looks at Red looking down at the deflated football. This is just like Newton— he has punctured every ball he’s ever had, and tug is his favorite game! The funny thing is that none of his Lab cousins will play tug but his Boxer cousin will, so they have a lot of fun together.

Sophie’ favorite toy was her deflated soccer ball.. she beat the cr*p out of that thing for months.

Rover has a nice signature celebration walk!! Gret re-purposing of the ball and game!

Rover …. I believe that you “CHOMPED” just a little to hard ….. but on the bright side You and Red now have a Tug-of-War toy ……. Win-Win …… :)

My parents had a boxer who LOVED to pop footballs. When they lived on an Airforce base, my dad kept a stockpile of new footballs, since Sam would catch and pop the kid’s footballs!

Red’s talent for improvisation should take him far in life.
