Okay. I will take my business elsewhere.

I used to work remotely. I enjoyed the 2 minute commute (that’s how long it took me to log in). I’d log in at 6:30 AM and off at 8 PM. No, I did not work the full time in between. I put in about 9 hours with multiple breaks including working out in my pool during the summer months.

My actual work hours were determined by when data was available and reports were due. I ran a 50-step checklist each morning to produce 18 reports by 8:30 AM when the rest of the work force was just logging in. A couple of these reports supported a 9 AM meeting.

The company decided to increase productivity by bringing everyone back in the office, so I retired. I was not leaving the house at 6 AM to get to the office by 6:30 and I was not staying until 8 PM and getting home at 8:30. Besides, they don’t have a pool at work.

What makes you think this is a coffee shop? Is the half-concealed name something you recognize?
