Horace, you should have waited until you were invited; no one likes crashers.

Well, he doesn’t live in the glass house, so he hadn’t heard the usual warning.

My Uncle Stonebender was visiting a king who lived in a large grass hut in the center of darkest Africa. To impress my uncle, the king purchased a new and more ornate throne, storing his old throne in the attic.

In the middle of dinner, the old throne broke through the ceiling and fell into a pot of soup.

And the moral of this story is, “People who live in grass houses shouldn’t stow thrones.”

I guess Horace missed that admonition, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

People who live around glass houses shouldn’t throw stones either.

No need to move away, Horace! The old adage goes: people that “LIVE” in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones! So… you up for a little baseball in the yard, hmm?

Someone on our local “Nextdoor” neighborhood website is freaking out. Though she didn’t object to the house next door being torn down to build a new senior living center, she’s now very upset that they are building a pickleball court up to the property line, directly under her bedroom window. She wrote "Pickle-ball is known to be a loud and obnoxious sport. “DINKK, DINKK, DINKK” will be the sound me, my babies, my husband, and neighbors will hear all day in the spring, summer, and fall. "

Horace didn’t live in the glass house, so he figured it was okay to throw a stone.

Better to use Lexan than plain glass.
