An offer you can’t refuse

Maybe I’m dating myself but the only violin performance I remember was Jack Benny playing his violin on the Jack Benny Show, and believe me, that performance brought tears to the eyes and it could cause the wolves to howl!

The other day while I was driving, I heard a song on the radio that so captivated me that I had to pull over to listen, then write down the artist’s name. Turns out to be a young Icelandic woman singing bossa nova. Name is Laufey. May not be for everyone, but I hadn’t been that moved by a song in a long time.

There are strings attached.

That’s one thing you can say about a mouse playing a violin, he can sure hit the low notes.

Good. The wolves don’t eat steady like Scratch and Raymond and Louie.

I totally agree. I thought it would be bad. She is terrific. I can’t wait until the next season but it may be late 2024 now. Grr.

The last few strips have been down to a single Sweetie which is good for those of us who have a low gagging threshold.

Don’t fall for it, mouse/mice. In fact, in this case, I’d probably be the first to hightail it outta there.
