It greatly “lightens” her load.
Marm has met the enemy, and that enemy is ……… King Tut!!!
:-)
In other words, to annoy Marmaduke!
They do that for sure. My cat also sits on laps especially when the dog watches – sometimes when the dog goes away, cat also slips away.
There is only one king, Marm
But would you want someone Marm’s size sitting on your lap?
Jaws-of-Death, my 95 lb. pittie, wants to be a lap dog. But he can only put his head, which would rival an African lion’s in size, on my lap.
What a stare down!
At least King Tut does fit. Marm. only thinks that he fits.
No doubt.
My cat tries to do this with me. He sits on my husband’s lap and tries to make me jealous. He gets smarmy when it doesn’t work.
Of course the cat does it, to make Marm jealous … especially a Siamese cat …. :)
Marmaduke, by rights, must be the center of attention. The “Duke” has spoken!
Cats are perverse like that.
Yes. Cats do that.
a quick move or loud bark from Marmaduke and she will be bleeding, at least that’s how our cats react, claws digging in to get traction as they exit
My dogs just ignore my cats
