Is Brutus Hattie’s personal warder?….I meant baby-sitter?

When they made her, they broke the mold into millions of pieces.

You never know Brutus. Her twin might be nice. I knew a pair of identical twins. One was nice and happy, the other was mean and surly.

Brutus finds a bright spot in everything!

It’s better yet that he only has one battle axe mother in law.

This kind of reminds me of Dennis the Menace who hangs out with Mr. Wilson some 5 to 10 times more often than Dennis hung out with his actual parents. Except that you occasionally seen Dennis’s parents once in a while and also Dennis was a boy not a girl.

Yep. It is a good thing Hattie is one-of-a-kind. Though she does have a sweet quality.

A good zinger but sadly it’s a very true description of her best feature. Very nice reflection on Brutus that he would watch over Hattie, but that is Brutus. Maybe some day, Hattie will learn from Brutus’s example…..

Great line Brutus! I love how Hattie decreed she would “hang out” with Brutus and apparently her parent(s) never asked or informed Brutus. Deep down she must like being with Brutus and my hunch is he secretly likes having her around too. Or at least tolerates her. Thought – Hattie rounds out the trinity of domineering females in Brutus’s life, each in a different generation.

Another line from Brutus, “So why am I being punished?”

Well Brutus you could also say the best thing about her visit is when she leaves.

Reminds me of the dump-and-run parents when I was involved with Cub Scouts and Little League.

My neck hurts when I see Brutus lying in a chair like that.

Hurricane Hattie is one of a kind…which is fortunate.

Brutus finally gets the best of Hurricane Hattie, for what will probably be a brief moment!
