People tend to think that there is enough clearance under the car to protect them. Not so. When the car comes down it sinks on the shock absorbers before rising. I knew a woman whose mechanic boyfriend was killed that way.

At least you weren’t under truck and had it fall on you. Of course you should be using a jack stand for that very reason.
