You have the right to be offended at anything you like. Just don’t expect/require anyone else take you seriously.

Just wait until he is in middle school and reminded daily he is a homely runty four eyed ginger with a home haircut wearing clothes from Goodwill.

Someone I know used the phrase “I’m offended” to control their targets. Later after being covertly offensive, triggering an altercation, tells her target she isn’t allowed to be offended then laughs at the target for saying “I’m not offended, I’m hurt” in front of all their friends, twisting the narrative, again in order to strip away another layer of the target’s already thready self esteem. Walk away!

It’s a freaking cartoon. Get over it.
