I wonder what baseball players do when the season is over.

They gotta come thru those Phillies first!

You can home run but you can’t cowhide.

The one time I saw a game in Atlanta it was the 1990’s.Tim Wakefield was with Pittsburgh before he became a household name with the Red Sox.

He pitched an 11-inning complete game win over Atlanta.he only gave up 2 hits but he walked men in double figures and there were errors,wild pitches,and passed balls all over the place.One of the craziest games I ever saw. Wakefield was a knuckleball pitcher and he hadn’t quite mastered it yet.

Careful, a surprisingly small number of World Series during this century have been won by the team with the best regular-season record.

This Red Sox fan is rooting for the Orioles this year. Baltimore fans have been very gracious when people from Boston went to games at Camden Yards over the years. I am glad to see them have some success. One woman at a game I attended there some years ago even told me that they liked Red Sox fans better than Yankees fans.
